Dr. Randi Roth is the Co-founder and Co-Director of The Westport Center for Mindfulness and Psychotherapy. Dr. Roth has been practicing for 23 years. She has been in private practice for 20 years in Westchester and Westport. In her early career she worked at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center and Bulimia Treatment Associates (now EDRC) in NYC. Dr. Roth received her B.A. from The University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and her Ph.D. from Long Island University in 1991. She has had 4 years of Post-doctoral training in psychoanalysis at The Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and also completed their Supervision Training Program. Dr. Roth was Associate Director of the Treatment Service of WCSPP and currently teaches Psychoanalytic Listening and Adolescent Psychotherapy to post-doctoral students.

Dr. Roth has certification as a Divorce Coach and has worked collaboratively with mediators in CT and NY.    She works with couples during the divorce process to help them preserve their dignity and well-being.  If there are children involved, she provides guidance as to how to work together to ensure the well-being of the children.  Dr. Roth is a co-founder of Support Through Divorce and collaborates with attorney Vicki Volper and divorce advisor Nicole Feuer in this capacity.  She also consults with The Family Treasure, a private company devoted to strengthening connections within families.

Dr. Roth received certification in Focusing , a mindfulness technique, in 2001 and has attended multiple trainings in the integration of mindfulness and psychotherapy. She has experienced the benefits of the practice of mindfulness both personally and in her work with clients.
